| What is it? |
| The systems used to record Conferences and Seminars
for discs can also be used for web casting and other forms of EventCasting. |
| Web casting brings your presentation event onto the
internet. You go real time and require your audience to log into the seminar
site at a predefined time to hear a ' live'; event, or you can store previously
archived sound, video and synchronised slides for access anytime. |
| Live webcasting |
| Great for timed announcements and presentations where
your audience need to get the same message at the same time. It also allows
for real time feedback, so questions can be put directly to the speaker
or speaker panel for an immediate response. |
| Facilitators help to manage the influx of messages
and group them, as more often than not related questions will enter the
system from many different locations. |
| But live webcasting is not so good if some of your
audience have slow internet or network access or would have difficulty in
coming on line at a pre-determined time. |
| Archived webcasting |
| This gives access to pre-recorded presentations at
a time to suit the audience. So it is perfect for international audiences
working in different time zones. |
| Feedback is provided through dedicated chat rooms,
online forums, and it is easy to update the site with Q & A´s
over time. |
| If your presentation or seminar is not time dependent,
and your network capacity prohibits streaming media, you would be better
off to issue it using Conference on a Disc™ or Training on a Disc™. |
